Parade & Charley Jenkins

28 days until Fair!

The fair is getting closer. Don’t forget entries are due July 10! You can also enter online! It’s very easy and saves time. Head over to our website to enter. In addition to entering online you can also buy tickets for the night shows, carnival, and the Wrangler Mega passes online too!

The parade entry deadline is July 20. This year’s theme is “Wrangle Up The Fun!” Categories for the parade include: agriculture, auto, commercial, equine, music, Native American, religious, service club, youth, and miscellaneous. Entry forms are available online or at the fair Office.

Keeping up with the free stage entertainment, another entertainer is Charley Jenkins. Charley grew up on a farm in Utah. Charley moved to Nashville in 2001 to help jumpstart his country music career. He moved back home in 2004 to help with the farm and help his dad who was battling cancer. The “Round Here” album, released in 2005, was a tribute to his father and he wrote the song “Hero At Home” for his father as well. Charley’s success on NBC Television’s ‘Nashville Star’ landed him on the Today Show.

Charley continues to rise and he has shared the stage with many big name country stars such as: LeAnn Rimes, Lonestar, Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, Josh Turner and many others.

Be sure to catch Charley Jenkins at the Fremont County Fair! He’ll be here July 28-31.

And lastly, be sure to start sharing your experiences with us by using #WyoFair10 #FCF2015. During fair time we’ll have some competitions for best post and/or picture when you use one of these hashtags. So start sharing your road to fair that way you’re ready during fair time!

Stay tuned for next week’s blog!
