He moved back home in 2004 to help with the farm and help his dad who was battling cancer. The “Round Here” album, released in 2005, was a tribute to his father and he wrote the song “Hero At Home” for his father as well. Charley’s success on NBC Television’s ‘Nashville Star’ landed him on the Today Show.

Charley continues to rise and he has shared the stage with many big name country stars such as: LeAnn Rimes, Lonestar, Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, Josh Turner and many others.

New Social Media and about Fair Entertainment

Spring fair has come and gone and now the countdown to Fair is on. 49 days!

Spring fair was short but fun. A lot went on with the carnival and livestock shows. We had a lot of animals from around the county, state, and a few from surrounding states as well. There was also a singing competition for the night shows during fair and we had some very talented people show up! We’re excited for these people to come and sing!

A new social media the Fremont County Fair has this summer is YouTube. Right now we have one video of some staff riding the Northstar Amusements Ferris Wheel and getting some great aerial shots of Riverton and the carnival. Later today there’ll be more videos from the livestock shows. Be on the lookout for that!

Here’s a link to the YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtTHIHUlipeje6ldrCFa0jA . What other videos do you think we should do?

With the fair being next month we’ll start talking about some of the entertainment that will be coming. Each week will be something new we’re talking about. This week is, Freddie Prez!

Freddie has a lot of “out of the box attractions that will never be forgotten!” He does contests and has entertainment for all ages. Freddie will be here July 26-28.
